THE BLADE

Boasting a 2.37'' 14C28N modified drop point blade with a flat grind, the Corgi pup is compact enough to fit in any pocket from edc pouch or fifth pocket and woman’s handbag. It packs a punch like its bigger sibling, but in a more portable package.

THE HANDLE

The Corgi Pup's mirror-symmetrical handle maintains the same width as the original, while its sleek, rounded design offers excellent ergonomics, no hot spots. Holding it feels like cradling a cute, small puppy - delightful and heartwarming. Its compact size and comfortable grip make it perfect for any occasion.

The TREK LOCK

What sets the Corgi pup apart is our Trek Lock mechanism (Patent Pending). Placed right in the middle for a sleek, symmetrical look. You can choose to deploy it with either the front flipper or the back flipper–think of them as the Corgi's perky ears. And, to complete the picture, the pocket clip resembles its cheerful little tail, wagging happily your way!

THE DETAILS

The Titanium plate inserts not only provide extra structural stability but also add unique aesthetics.

The recessed textured button increases control over the action of the knife. The color-matched backspacer has a lanyard attachment and adds paring aesthetics.

Perfect shorty EDC

The Corgi Pup is a great version of the regular Corgi, the detent is much better, the blade is more secure in the Corgi Pup, and the size is perfect for EDC use, the perfect 5ft pocket knife. The action is also easier due to the shorter size of the knife. The blade could be 1 or 2mm longer. Ergonomics are also very good. One of my favorite EDC.

Quirky but okay

To note, this is my first Vosteed knife and so far I've found the Corgi Pup quirky (I don't mind quirky) but okay. Here are my good/bad/ugly opinions. GOOD...The blue Micarta is excellent. I love having multiple opening options of front/rear flipper or button. The knife feels solid and I really dig the looks both opened and closed. Size wise, it's great for a discreet gentleman's knife. BAD...For me, the front flipper is a bit awkward to use. I have other front flipper knives that I can open with ease, but really do think it's just the size and/or shape of this particular knife in relation to my hand. I'll play around with it and see if a different technique will work better. UGLY...If I flip/flick open the blade with a little gusto occasionally (key word: occasionally) something gets stuck or catches and I have to press in the button with a lot of force to release the blade to close it. This make for an unpleasant experience. If I open it normally I don't have this issue. And none of my other button lock knives have this issue.
