Cloud Carbon Fiber Thunderbird

The Thunderbird (2.98”) is the under 3” variant of our well-received Thunderbird design. Looking through your EDC knife rotation, under 3” blades are the ones that see most of your pocket time. This is our intention and dedication to make the Thunderbird smaller for everyday carry and keep it fidget-friendly of all time.

THE HANDLE

The Thunderbird uses sophisticated cloud carbon fiber. As its name suggests, the patterns differ on each and every knife, creating a feast of unpredictable changes and illusions to our eyes.

Besides its aesthetic patterns, you would be impressed by the features of carbon fiber, lightweight, and durable

THE DETAILS

The cherry on the cake is that the backspacer utilizes glow-in-the-dark material. You can enjoy its captivating charm in the nighttime.

The knife sports an upgraded one-piece integral recessed button for easy maintenance.

THE BLADE

The 2.98” M390 blade is a mix of traditional Tantō and harpoon, combining the best of both worlds, superior piercing power and reinforced tip structure

Shallow compound hollow grind for slicing performance and edge stability.

Straight fuller offers a sleek yet sophisticated appearance.

THE TREK LOCK

The Trek Lock (patent pending) is an innovation that perfectly combines multi-deployment options with a reliable & intuitive locking mechanism

No more thumbs in the closing path, always more ways to play with. The mechanism can reduce unintended unlock accidents.

The knife is more than a cutting tool. You will enjoy using this intuitive, pleasant, ambidextrous innovation.

A really cool addition

This knife checks all of my boxes. It's fidgety and I can appreciate the pattern and color of the carbon fiber whenever I look at it. A hollow ground M390 blade ties it all together. This is a very well made, and thoughtfully designed knife.

Perfect Knife

I recently purchased the blue, white, and black Thunderbird and I’m loving it. I also purchased the green and black one as well and it’s amazing. I love the Thunderbird Series and I currently have 7 of them in different sizes. I would love to see this model in a Fat Carbon Fiber and Titanium. I look forward to seeing more of the 3” blade in different scales. Thank you Vosteed for an amazing fidget friendly line of Thunderbirds and by far, the Thunderbirds are my favorite go to knives.

Has tons of potential

My only issue with the knife (and its a big one) is that the detent is way too weak. This is a common issue with button lock knives, and this is one of the weaker ones I have experienced. The fit and finish is excellent. The blade is centering is perfect. The lock up is rock solid and it is very comfortable in the hand. If a weak dent is not a problem for you, then this is a great knife. Unfortunately, that is a big deal to me. Hope this is helpful.
