Great fifth pocket or primary small carry; Good knife steel, great ergos, comes SHARP & really fidgety. Oh, I Rit dyed the jade green scales (chocolate brown).
Thought it will be too small. But it's a perfect size EDC which disappears in the pocket. You don't realise it is with you, until you need it. And on top it's really fidgety.
With several ways to deploy, the Chipmunk seems to be more in hand than pocket. The thumbstud has a comfortable cutout for a natural feel. It has a front flipper but as I am terrible with those I am not able to review that feature properly. The “back” flipper is basically a stud as well. Looks odd but performs perfectly. The blade itself is almost a complete flat grind. It seems to hit the sweet spot in thick enough to feel sturdy but, thin enough to make it a great slicer.
In the end, if you are looking for a solid daily user with a fidget factor of 9 out of 10 (button lock could’ve been the only thing added), do yourself a favor and pick up this awesome addition to the Vosteed line!
