The Blade
Inspired by the famous supersonic critter, the Vosteed Hedgehog is a super fun knife. Its 2.99” S35VN blade excels in edge retention and corrosion resistance. The modified sheepsfoot blade shape and lightly curved belly are well suited for slicing and cutting.
With a blade width of 1.30”, the Hedgehog packs a solid punch in a mid-size body. When closed, it won’t take up much space in your pocket or pouch. When it’s opened, the hedgehog will be ready to join action with you.
The Handle
Designed with ergonomics in mind, the Hedgehog incorporates a spacious finger groove as well as a generous finger choil on the blade. This combination not only allows different grip and holding positions but also improves precision cutting for dedicated jobs. To increase user control and overall aesthetics, CNC machined frag patterns are presented on the handle.
The Action
Equipped with a ceramic ball bearing and the Top Liner Lock, the Hedgehog offers snappy deployment with multiple options: back flipper, thumb stud, and fuller. The Top Liner Lock is intuitive when it’s paired with the button. To close the knife, simply press the button and your finger will not be in the cutting path.

The products that come out of Vosteed are incredible, not only the quality of the knives but all the craftsmanship in the designs of them. This is one of the knives I had to buy two of because of the scales. They do a wonderful job picking out what they want on them for material.
• Chose Hedgehog specifically because it has different features & opening options vs Ankylo: Harpoon ish Sheepsfoot blade; G10 Handle; S35VN; Top LIner Lock, ThumbStuds, & Fuller - and because it is slightly shorter than Ankylo (which I feel is about the max knife size for my hand | grip)
• PRO: Love the blade (especially the jimping in the harpoon area, the finger choil, the fuller, & the slickness), Smoothness when opening any of the many ways, Confidence of Top Liner Lock design, & the closing "ting"! Also prefer the slightly smaller size vs Ankylo (both in blade & overall length - even though we're talking just about ½") as well as the G-10 feel vs Aluminum
• Not as PRO (for me): ThumbStuds - Aptly named as they are great to use w/thumb, but I'm still not thrilled with most reverse flicking options (although it is kinda fun to open a little less traditionally with an "upsidedown" flick / into reverse gas station fight grip, but still prefer BladeHole); A touch of Lock-stick (which might disappear with more break-in time or some lube); No Front Flipper (while it took me some time to learn how to do it on the Ankylo, now it's my favorite ways)

This has to be the best knife that I have ever owned. I love the blade shape and the fact that it is in S35VN. The top liner lock is sold and works perfectly. The flipper tab is one of the best I have used. I love the low profile of the flipper tab. The hedgehog is the my favorite EDC knife.
